OPEN FIT INSTRUMENT
There are two types of Open Fit hearing instruments. The newest style is called a RIC for Receiver in Canal. The Open Fit instrument has a microphone, circuit (amplifier), and receiver. For an RIC product, the receiver actually lies in the ear canal. On the other type of Open Fit instrument (OTE), the receiver is at the top of the unit which sits behind the ear. Two things to consider when purchasing this type of hearing instrument are battery size and directional microphone.
- Sleek design provides a discreet look.

- Very comfortable to wear.
- No "occlusion" effect.
- Excellent sound quality.
